Alternatively, a regular bus service which stops directly outside the cottage will take guests the short distance to the foot of Yr Wyddfa - Snowdon, for paths up to the summit. The popular village of Betws-y-Coed, a lively spot popular with walkers and mountain bikers, and offering a range of shops, restaurants and bars is 6 miles away whilst the picturesque Swallow Falls waterfall is less than 4 miles away. The village of Llanberis where visitors can take the train up Snowdon or along the lake, hire boats or swim in the stunning Padarn lake is only an 11-mile drive away.
This pleasantly styled cottage combines some delightful period features with modern conveniences and is tastefully furnished to offer homely accommodation. The front door leads into the light and airy sitting room with seating positioned to enjoy the delightful wood burner, which is set in a traditional Welsh fireplace with an impressive local slate lintel. The spacious kitchen/diner is a open, light-filled room with wooden table and chairs for six and a contemporary fitted kitchen. From here, a door leads to the utility room with access to the rear of the property and the ground floor WC. On the first floor you’ll find two well-appointed bedrooms; one charming double and one cosy twin, both of which offer beautiful views of the valley and mountains. Also on the first floor is a chic shower room with a walk-in shower cubicle.
To the front of the property is an attractive paved area with a bench and table and chairs, providing a great place to sit and admire the views. Guests can also make use of the expansive grassed area that surrounds the property.
