This former village bakery has been converted into a stunning one-bed property accessed by a single-lane road on the edge of Trawsfynydd village, in the very heart of Snowdonia National Park. But if you fancy a change from walking and cycling, why not drive the 12 miles to colourful Portmeirion, or 6 miles to Go Ape Adventures. If steam’s your thing, then the Ffestiniog and Highland Railway is 12 miles away in Porthmadog. Criccieth with its castle ruins and beach is 18 miles by car. Or adrenaline junkies might like Zip World Fforest, just 22 miles away. But with castles, market towns, beaches and nature galore, you might go home needing a holiday to recover from all the excitement!

This bijou holiday residence is all on one floor, with the living accommodation open-plan, lending it a bright and airy feel. It’s perfect for a romantic break for two. The sleek, contemporary kitchen has been kitted out to a high standard and there’s a table for two as well. The lounge area is inviting with comfortable seating under its lofty beamed ceiling. The calming double bedroom offers an en-suite shower room with WC.

Accessed via a door from the lounge, there’s a furnished private patio behind the house with a further gravelled garden with more seating and BBQ. But, as you’re in the heart of Snowdonia, there are paths literally everywhere to explore from the doorstep.

Lovely cottage in a great location for exploring north Wales. It's a clean, comfortable and cosy cottage with a well equipped kitchen. Even though it is just off an A road, it feels very quiet. We spent a lot of the days out and about so didnt spend much time in the cottage but was great for what we needed. Would happily recommend this property andRead more return in future. Hide

Lovely, modernised, comfortable and cosy cottage. Although on the roadside there is a back area which has lovely furniture and bbq. There are no views from the property but, it is in a country location with a village shop and pub.
