This cabin is ideal for a romantic couples’ escape in the wilds of Snowdonia. It could also suit a single person looking to get away from it all in the countryside. Set on a working farm, the location has been chosen to make the most of the inspiring views. There are wonderful walks to enjoy from the doorstep and the little village of Cemaes is just 1 mile away. Here you will find a village shop, a cafe and a friendly local pub. The larger town of Machynlleth is 7 miles away with a good range of shops and restaurants along with the acclaimed Alternative Energy Centre. Both walkers and cyclists will love the area with many trails to discover and the Snowdonia National Park just 15 miles away. Mountain bikers shouldn’t miss a day at the popular Coed y Brenin biking centre near Dolgellau about 15 miles away. If you’d like a day at the beach, then the sandy bays of Aberdyfi and Ynys Las are each 19 miles away.

The beautifully designed cabin was featured on the Channel 4/Netflix documentary 'Cabins in the Wild'. Materials such as slate and wood have been sensitively selected to be in keeping with the cabin’s stunning natural setting. Inside the open-plan living space, guests will find a clever and compact design. There is a pull-up table that’s perfect for two and a sumptuous king-size bed for rest and relaxation that elevates at the touch of a button. A wood burner keeps things warm and cosy and there is a long slim picture window to one end that perfectly frames the mountain views and sunsets. The small kitchenette comes with two gas hobs, a kitchen sink, a microwave and a miniature fridge – just enough gear to whip up a simple tasty meal while you admire the views. There is also an en-suite shower room.

Outside, guests will find an elevated wooden deck positioned to make the most of the views. The cabin is gloriously private and serene with far-reaching views and greenery all around. This is a Dark Sky zone, so guests can wrap up, settle into the comfortable outdoor loungers and look out for shooting stars.

A beautiful, cosy cabin with stunning views and welcoming hosts. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for some peace and quiet away from it all. The only downside is to get those views, it's a steep uphill walk back from the local pub but definitely worth it. We'll surely be back.

Wonderful cabin set in spectacular location, scenery is beautiful and the picture window perfectly frames it so always in view. The cabin is comfortable and well equipped, the host was friendly to communicate with and we'd happily stay here again.

Cabin Llechi is an absolutely amazing stay. Me and my partner stayed for 2 nights during a cold, windy and rainy November weekend and the cabin was amazing for this. The ability to light a wood burning fire to warm up the cabin was incredible and the cabin kept its heat very well. The views were breathtaking and it was nice to sit up and watch tRead morehe sheep whilst in bed. Its the perfect place to stay if you are looking for a little Oasis away from the busy world for some peace and quiet. It is close enough to some nice areas such as Aberdyfi for a walk in the hills and along the beach. The owner was very accommodating and even offered a later check out, due to the fact that home was having some horrendous weather. We were told we can stay as long as we want and travel back when its safe and we were able to do so. Hide

Beautiful little place to spend the weekend getting away from the hustle and bustle. Cabin was outfitted to a modern high standard. Slept surprisingly well despite the heatwave as the cabin temperature cooled down in the evening. Location is gorgeous. Directions were easy to follow. Would not hesitate to stay again or recommend to a friend

The cabin was clean, well equipped and we loved how well the space was used. The views were out of this world and was nice seeing the sheep every morning. Owners were attentive and checked everything was OK on arrival but gave us plenty of space. Local village a mile away but the pub was closed on a Monday and there wasn't much else there so anythiRead moreng worth seeing is a drive away. This didn't bother us but it would have been nice to get a drink within walking distance of the cabin. Wouldn't hesitate to book again. Hide
