Just magical. Superb location, secure garden only neighbours being sheep, birds and the odd squirrel.... peaceful yet easy to get to the local shop. Cottage spotless and had everything we needed. Large well equipped kitchen. Large yet cosy lounge. Spacious and comfortable bedrooms with amazing views. Lots to do nearby such as Snowdonia or the miRead morenes but also walking near mountains, woods, streams, and waterfalls. A very nice welcome basket on arrival was much appreciated. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Hide

We cant thank Margaret enough for a wonderful week at Berthlwyd. The cottage is comfortable and cosy with uninterrupted views of the hills in every direction. Fantastic walking and biking opportunities in close proximity and we loved spending time in the garden with only the sheep for company. Would highly recommend.

The cottage was great and we had a fantastic holiday. I gave a lower score for value for money, as we have been staying in the same cottage for 5 or 6 years now and the price has doubled in that time, which means we get less for our money and have less spending money while we are on holiday. I realise that the price increase is the same for all cotRead moretages on your website but it does seem a bit steep. Hide

The cottage is beautiful, however although the description states there's a lovely village a mile walk away, it doesn't state that it includes quite a steep hill walk. I feel this information should be included in the interests of openness.
