This unique property has been built into the side of a cliff overlooking the sea and has an open-plan layout and large bay windows to make the most of the views. The Wales Coast Path can be joined beneath the cottage and leads to Llangrannog, 1.5 miles away, a small coastal village with great pubs, a popular beach and an activity centre. After watching the dolphins in the bay, get even closer to these amazing creatures by booking a dolphin-watching trip from the harbour at New Quay (5 miles), a picturesque town with a sandy beach and a range of shops, pubs and restaurants. Other activities in the area include surfing and body boarding at Llangrannog and Cilborth Bay (2 miles) or choose from dinghy sailing, yacht cruising, power boating, windsurfing and kayaking at Cardigan Bay Water sports, 5 miles.

Inside the house, the open-plan layout ensures you can see the sea from all living areas. The spacious lounge features a stylish wood burner and comfortable sofas, the kitchen has a breakfast bar, and the dining area seats six people. One bedroom is screened off from the living area and features a king-size bed, a lounger from which to enjoy the view, and an en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom is to the rear of the property and also features a king-size bed, with the use of a second bathroom.

A roof garden has a picnic bench with one-of-a-kind views. The hot tub to the side of the property is a great place for a morning coffee or to watch the sunset, with a glass of wine in hand.

A few little niggles, insufficient towels provided for our booking of four people. Not a problem as the rest of the family unable to join us due to illness. Second bedroom well furnished bar no towels but had a damp smell, again no problem as only two of us could make it. The two loo rolls promised were half empty so again would have run out if 4 gRead moreuests. A warning that key safe is situated over 6 feet up is needed, I couldnt access it ,my husband who is 6ft 3ins could only just read the numbers. Lots of positives re the location and views but though cliff path is close to property some warning of how difficult it is to access and need for sturdy walking boots would have been appreciated. We did have a contact number for the owners but when you go on holiday you dont want to have to sort out irritating niggles it should just be for unforeseen emergencies. Hide
