Less than half a mile from the village and beach of Aberdaron is this exquisite one-bedroom apartment, perfect for couples looking for a romantic break in an intimate setting. On the edge of the Llyn Peninsula sits this modern holiday apartment that oozes charm and style, while providing you with an idyllic romantic setting. The village of Aberdaron, with a beautiful mile-long sandy beach, cafes and two pubs, is just a quarter of a mile away. Staying in Aberdaron provides you with direct access to the Wales coastal path, where you can enjoy up to 84 miles of scenery that stretches across the peninsula. You can take a boat trip to the sacred island of Bardsey, and along the way, visit the historic Church of St Hywyn.

Back at the apartment, you can relax in the lounge, cosying up on the leather sofa in front of the TV or watching a DVD. Floor-to-ceiling patio doors let in natural light, allowing you to sit and watch as dusk arrives. Rustle up a romantic meal in the modern kitchen, which has all the mod cons needed to make your stay perfect. A comfortable bedroom will help you to get the rest you need for the following day’s activities, and a separate bathroom completes this attractive level-access apartment.

If you love life outside, you’ll enjoy two al fresco dining options. Choose between the patio area with table and chairs, or the external pod, both of which offer stunning views of Aberdaron and the sea beyond. A lockable garden shed is also available, with enough room to store two bicycles

Wish I could give this 10 stars! The cottage is absolutely stunning inside and out, the views and breathtaking. The owner was extremely kind, attentive and informative. We visited in May over a long weekend and we could have stayed so much longer. It was so peaceful, a 2 minute walk into the village which had everything we needed and the cottage waRead mores well equipped enough that we could enjoy some breakfasts in and dinner one evening. We would love to return again. We couldnt wait to open the blinds in the morning to see the sea view and the bunnies playing on the grass! Thank you Hide

A lovely place to stay with spectacular views of the bay, the owner was very friendly and helpful and keeps the place to a high standard. The village offers restaurants, cafes, and a very good chip shop to give plenty of options for eating. A well stocked supermarket, and a bakery plus two pubs. Would highly recommend a stay.

As we neared the cottage I turned to my husband and said this 5 hour drive had better be worth it and Moranned did not disappoint. The property itself is definitely 10/10 WOW. Well equipped with more than you will ever need and the furnishings are beautiful with no expense spared. During our stay (5 days) we only had 1 day of dry weatheRead morer but that was not an issue because we sat just admiring the sea view, reading, watching the wildlife (with the binoculars provided) and doing jigsaws (also provided). Perfect place to relax for sure. The location is perfect with a well equipped Spar shop a 2 minute walk away. Also a 2 minute walk to the bus stop which we went took into Pwllheli and Abersoch amazing views along way. We also visited Gwestry Ty Newydd the local pub (2 minute walk). lovley Welsh welcome from the staff and delicious food. Also a mention to Mrs Hughes. Delightful and knowledgeable host and nothing was too much trouble and the welcome pack which included cake from the local bakery, prosecco, biscuits, milk etc . a great Welch welcome. Without a doubt we will be visiting Morannedd soon. Hide

Mrs Eirlys Hughes is a wonderfully generous and kind host and a tribute to Welsh hospitality. We could not fault our stay at the cottage. It was immaculately clean, toasty warm (we had a few cold days - even though it was August) and the views were breathtaking. The cottage is only a short walk from the beach and the main village, which has a couplRead moree of quaint pubs and restaurants. The cottage proximity to the beach and village was very handy, as the National Trust car park by the beach fills up quickly. The landscape was stunning with commanding views of the sea and small islands from the cottage. We would recommend the cottage for anyone wanting a truly rural Welsh experience (you will hear Welsh spoken by most locals in the village). Hide
