The picturesque village of Parc stands on the banks of the River Llafar and provides a starting point for numerous walks and a cycle route, with the market town of Bala just 4 miles away, offering a great range of shops, pubs and restaurants to enjoy. Discover Bala Lake (2 miles), the largest natural body of water in Wales, and try out various water sports such as fishing, sailing, canoeing, windsurfing and white-water rafting, or spot the unique Gwyniad fish, a relic of the Ice Age. Starting from Llanuwchllyn, 3.5 miles away, venture along the excellent linear walk to the two major summits of Aran Fawddwy and Aran Benllyn.

The cottage welcomes you into the open-plan living, kitchen and dining area, with two comfortable leather sofas and a stone fireplace housing a wood burner-effect electric fire. Following the wooden floor leads you through to the kitchen/diner, well-equipped with everything you may need to cater, plus a large wooden dining table and highbacked leather chairs underneath a statement light fixture. There is also a handy utility room adjoining the kitchen. Back through the cottage, you’re met with a spacious family bathroom, as well as three bedrooms – one king-size, one twin and one single – all featuring the same contemporary furnishings and decor as the rest of the cottage.

Wrapping around the cottage, there is a large, enclosed lawned garden, providing the perfect spot to truly admire the surrounding countryside. The garage has been converted into a games room, complete with a pool table and darts cabinet, for endless fun no matter what the weather.

WOW what a beautiful place to stay. To pick a few things to give special mention to is very difficult however, super comfy beds, fabulous shower and a lovely peaceful location! Lovely cottage, very clean, modern, with everything you need, and a games room with darts and pool. Our children loved playing those. Great location, views across fields full of sheep, bird feeder in garden with woodpecker visiting regularly. You'd need a car as nothing is near, but there is lots to do within an hour's drive. We had a lovely time both in and out of the cottage. Its a stunning area to visit with plenty to see. But it was so nice to stay in and enjoy the views too, especially all of the birds that come to visit the bird feeder.

Absolutely fantastic stay! The home was everything we couldve asked for - warm, comfortable and with a well-stocked kitchen! Great location with many day trip possibilities but also just a fabulous spot to relax and watch the sheep. Really good for birdwatching too, a very busy birdfeeder!
