This modern cottage affords a magnificent, elevated position overlooking the sea. Here, you can enjoy dramatic sunset views and on a clear night, for a truly magical experience, you can sit on the terrace and watch the stars twinkle up above. This modern property had a previous life as three separate herring fisherman cottages that were lovingly converted into one spacious holiday home. With its rural location less than 1 mile from the pretty seaside village of Nefyn on the Lyn Peninsula. This idyllic location is perfect for friends and families looking to explore the Wales Coastal Path, with two walks starting right from your doorstep, one heading into the heart of Nefyn and the other, slightly more challenging walk, leading up to the peak of Mynydd Nefyn mountain. Keen golfers may like to try Nefyn golf course which is approximately 3.5 from the cottage and offers two cliff-top 18 hole courses boasting unforgettable scenery. For more family-oriented fun, Porth Nefyn, which boasts a two-mile stretch of sandy beach, is just 1.5 miles away. Nefyn village provides a host of pubs, restaurants, cafes and museums for you to explore.

This modern conversion features a large open plan living/kitchen/dining space which is flooded with natural light from the French doors. Here, you can sit back on one of the soft leather sofas and simply soak up the gorgeous sea views. The space has been carefully designed with a sleek and contemporary look, whilst retaining its original features such as the exposed beams and wood burner. Whether it’s winter or summer, the property creates an atmosphere of comfort and style. The wall-mounted TV and DVD provides an opportunity for evening movie nights with the family after a day out walking. Hidden behind the imposing chimney you will find a fully equipped kitchen/dining area with an original quarry tiled floor and modern appliances, the ideal space to sit and enjoy evening meals together. Step down into the hallway and you will find three bedrooms and a bathroom. The master bedroom is a grand space with a king-size bed, sofa, TV and wood burner, where you can retire for privacy after a day socialising with friends, the room also boasts wonderful sea views. A comfortable king-size room and twin room, completes the sleeping arrangements for this home. We love this property, having stayed there three times now. It's location is its main asset. It's comfortably furnished and feels like a home from home.

A beautiful property in a stunning location, very well prepared for us. We had a fabulous time. Two things to note. One toilet located in a single bathroom was challenging for 6 people. We had constant problems with the heating - on at all times of day and night, but none at all in the main, very large bedroom. But all in all, a lovely property.
