For a romantic holiday for two, it’s hard to beat this cosy renovated barn in North West Wales, located on the owner’s picturesque farm. You’ll be 1 mile from the small village of Llannor, and 2 miles from the pretty market town of Pwllheli, where you can enjoy a slap-up meal or a day by the beach. The bustling seaside resorts of Nefyn, Llanbedrog and Abersoch (6, 5.5 and 8.5 miles respectively) are all well worth the trip.

The building has been converted to a high standard, starting with the impressive living area, featuring a vaulted ceiling with ceiling beams and original flagstone flooring. This space is excellent for relaxing together, reclining on the leather sofas and enjoying a meal together at the pine dining table. French doors from here lead out to the terrace. In the adjoining kitchen, painted wooden units and an apron sink contribute to the traditional style. The pristine shower room and WC is also on the ground floor. From the cosy living area, head up the wooden stairs to reach a mezzanine landing. Double pine doors lead to your sleeping nest, a gorgeous double room with skylights, an impressive antique iron double bed and lovely pine furniture.

Outside the property, there’s a raised terrace with potted plants – a lovely space to relax and absorb the uninterrupted views. There’s a table, chairs and a parasol as well as a BBQ for those outdoor sizzle-ups. During your trip, the owner is happy for you to explore the farm, which features an orchard, beds and polytunnels yielding an abundance of horticultural delights.

We loved staying at The Barn, it's a beautiful location which is handy for local shops and there's so much to do in the area. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable with excellent facilities and we loved the terrace area and looking around the smallholding. Best of all though was the company - you couldn't wish for better hosts than SuzanRead morene and Simon. Thank you so much for your kindness and hospitality! Hide

The owners Simon & Suzanne who live on site are very welcoming and have a good knowledge of the local area and nothing seems to be too much trouble for them. Very quiet, rural location, with excellent views over the surrounding countryside. "The Barn" is well positioned for exploring the Llyn Peninsula and surrounding area.

As others have highlighted, a beautifully decorated, spacious and comfy property. We received a warm welcome on arrival and plenty of useful information about The Barn, local amenities and suggestions of places to eat/visit were sent ahead of our stay. Simon & Suzanne were also on hand to provide further advice as required. A very enjoyable week. This property is ideal for a couple who like a quiet location but which is within a short car journey from various small towns. The very friendly owners did everything possible to make our stay a memorable one - including providing little extras - home grown tomatoes, plums and apple juice. They live in the adjacent farm house and are always at hanRead mored to provide help or advice. The Barn is comfortable and cosy and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Hide

The Barn is an ideal holiday accommodation: very clean, very comfortable, and in an ideal location - just a short drive from Pwllheli. The owners, Simon and Suzanne, live next door and are very friendly; however, they do leave you to your own devices to enjoy your holiday in your own way. The Barn is highly recommended.
