This coastal escape is located in the picturesque village of Llanbedrog, on the south side of the beautiful Llyn Peninsula. A short walk (300 metres) will bring you into the heart of the village, where you’ll find a number of cafes and cosy pubs. The mile-long stretch of golden sand is owned by the National Trust, and is backed by an iconic row of colourful beach huts, which can be hired during summer months. Spend your days soaking up some Welsh sunshine on the sand or enjoy a relaxing swim in the sheltered waters. The beach is also a popular spot for water sports, such as windsurfing and paddleboarding. From the beach, take a stroll up the Mynydd Tir y Cwmwd headland to admire the breathtaking views across Cardigan Bay. The village is set between the popular seaside resorts of Abersoch (3 miles) and Pwllheli (4 miles), both of which make lovely day trips.

The romantic bolthole has been decorated in a contemporary style and has an open-plan layout. Underfloor heating ensures a warm welcome awaits whatever the season, and lovely soft furnishings and accessories create a homely feel throughout. A sofa bed sits in front of the TV, and there is a table and chairs for sharing romantic dinners for two. The chic kitchen area has been carefully designed to include everything you need to rustle up light snacks and evening meals. Completing the apartment is an elegant king-size bedroom and en-suite shower room.

The apartment benefits from two fabulous outdoor areas. To the front of the property you’ll find a patio with outdoor furniture for al fresco dining, and to the rear is a small, enclosed patio area, again with outdoor furniture.

Excellent property, close to the beach and local amenities in Llanbedrog plus its only a few minutes away from Abersoch. Would definitely book again !

The property is in an excellent location and well equipped. The accommodation itself is ok as a base but felt very cramped for anyone self catering. The bathroom in particular was extremely claustrophobic. Unfortunately the property had an intermittent drainage smell. The property was spotless, stylish & in a super location. The front enclosed garden area was magnificent & a pleasure to sit & dine there. Beautiful backdrop to view & pubs , beach , shop all within a stones throw away ! We highly recommend this accommodation & would certainly return

Y Cwtch was a fabulous base for our short break. It was very well equipped with all essentials needed, home from home. I would definately book this again and would recommend to others.

A ccommodation lacking in natural light (no windows due to location) making it gloomy and unwelcoming inspite of electric lighting. Settee uncomfortable, kitchen well equipped but so small there is no room to put anything, needed more work surface. Large American fridge freezer better suited for large kitchen catering for 6 or more. This property is a very compact apartment for two people. It is entirely on one floor, so it was ideal for us - a couple in our eighties with mobility issues. We had an allocated car parking space and the location gave us easy access to the whole of the Llyn peninsula with Snowdonia less than an hour's drive away.
