The picturesque village of Tenby is just 3.5 miles away, where there are four gorgeous beaches, more lovely shops and places to eat. From here, in summer you can also catch a boat for a day trip to the holy Caldey Island. Other places to explore nearby include the National Trust’s Colby Woodland Garden (4.5 miles), a lovely spot for a walk and a picnic, and Pembroke Castle, 11.5 miles, one of the finest in Britain.
