A delightful stone cottage on a working farm, set in the heart of the rugged and idyllic Isle of Anglesey in North Wales. If you stay on the island itself, 20 miles is the furthest you’ll travel on a visit to the South Stack lighthouse and cliffs at Holyhead. Closer to home, you could wander the corridors of Beaumaris Castle, famous for never being completed, or meet the characterful creatures found in British waters that reside at Anglesey Sea Zoo. For coastal days out, sandy Rhosneigr Beach is one of the island’s favourites, while back on the mainland Bangor is within 10 miles and a great spot for a bit of nightlife. North Wales’ most famous feature, Mount Snowdon, is 27 miles away and offers walking trails and a mountain railway for anyone who’d rather get a lift to the top to take in unbeatable views.
A ramp leads up to the pretty front door of this holiday retreat. Step inside to enjoy the light, bright, neutral décor of this stylish holiday getaway, complete with contemporary wood-look flooring throughout the ground floor. The heart of this holiday home is the open-plan lounge/diner where a wood burner with a feature stone wall, comfortable seating and a TV all await for cosy evenings. The charming dining set seats four, and the kitchen is a simple, stylish, modern space to rustle up meals in. The ground floor also boasts its own wonderful bedroom with a super-king-size zip-and-link bed that can be made up as a twin on request. There’s a TV in here and it has a delightful en-suite wetroom with a lovely rainfall shower too. Upstairs, on the first floor, you’ll find the king-size room where you can drift to sleep beneath beautiful, vaulted ceilings and wake to the morning news on the TV also found in here. Finally, the beautiful family bathroom offers up the choice of a walk-in shower or a fantastic roll-top bath to unwind in, and a skylight offers sky views and lets in natural light.
Sit out in the pretty patio space with warm-coloured, stone flooring, plenty of seating, and views out towards the magnificent Snowdonia mountain range on clear days. A lovely, shared lawn space is just the place for any youngsters in your group to burn off energy, and you can request the use of the charcoal BBQ during your stay.
