This appealing property, sleeping six guests, offers the perfect holiday home for families or a group of friends planning to explore the island of Anglesey and its many attractions. It is within 2 miles of Llangefni, Anglesey’s county town, which hosts a lively open-air market twice a week and has shops, pubs and cafes. Drop into Oriel Ynys Mon, the town’s purpose-built museum and art gallery to learn more about Anglesey’s past, and browse the shop, which sells an excellent range of craft works. For a day by the sea, head to Red Wharf Bay (5 miles), one of the island’s most popular beaches, and enjoy the 3-mile stretch of sand. Visit beautiful Beaumaris (8.5 miles) to enjoy a stroll past the town’s pretty coloured houses before heading for the seafront. The view across the Menai Strait to Snowdonia is magnificent and from here you can catch a boat to Puffin Island or embark on a seacoast safari to spot wildlife. See wild creatures of a different kind at Anglesey Sea Zoo (10 miles). Ideal for a rainy-day outing, this collection of the best of British marine life, from a seahorse to an octopus, will be enjoyed by children and adults alike.

The living/dining open-plan area of this thoughtfully planned property is light and airy, with wooden floors throughout. In the living space, two comfortable sofas overlook a patio and the countryside beyond. Cushions, throws, and soft lamps make this a peaceful spot for a quiet moment, and there is inviting seating in front of the cosy wood burner. A stylish dining table has seating for up to six guests, and a superb contemporary kitchen further enhances the tasteful interior. Still on the ground floor are two comfortable and simply furnished bedrooms: a double and a super-king-size bed which can be made to form twin beds on request. A sleek bathroom features a walk-in rainfall shower, and there is a separate cloakroom with a WC. Upstairs, the pretty king-size bedroom has lovely countryside views and its own sumptuous bathroom, with a walk-in rainfall shower and double-ended bath.

Outside, an elevated patio outside the living room has attractive garden furniture and a idyllic outlook over the countryside, with views of the Snowdonia Mountain Range on a clear day. A charcoal BBQ is available on request and there is also a shared lawn too.

The cottage is a perfect holiday home. Very clean and well kitted out with easy to use appliances. The owners are very nice, friendly and eager to please. The welcome pack was very generous and most appreciated. The location for touring around the island is excellent being in the centre of the island. We would definitely stay here again.

My wife and I, along with our three young daughters stayed at the property for a week on the 10/02/2023. It was such a fantastic stay and the owners are so kind and welcoming. All the essentials were already provided at the property, which we thought was such a nice touch. The property itself was clean, modern and very well kept, which definitely eRead moreased our hygiene concerns as one of our daughters has severe food allergies. It was also very convenient that the local Asda was only a 10-15 minute drive. My wife and three daughters, (6, 5 and 1 years old) loved their experience and if they are happy, then so am I!! It would be great to return at some point. Thanks for a lovely time. Hide
