Located in the ancient market town of Llanidloes, which is home to over 30 stunning walking trails to Llyn Clywedog Lake and Hafren Fforest. An unforgettable stargazing experience at Elan Valley International Dark Sky park is 15 miles away, while closer to home, the local pub and shop are less than half a mile away.

This cosy home is tastefully decorated throughout with views of the mature garden from most windows. The living area features a wood-burning stove and dining table for two with views out across the valley. The modern kitchen is spacious and well-equipped. The ground floor also features a bathroom with a large walk-in waterfall shower. The bedroom, which offers flexible sleeping arrangements with a king-size bed that can be made into two singles, boasts patio doors leading into the garden. An ideal secret secluded get away for couples.

Outside you’ll find a large, paved patio area with garden furniture, overlooking a well-tended, terraced garden and pond with views of the valley and countryside.

A genuinely lovely place to stay! A perfect base for the gorgeous local sights and activities (the walks are so good, and Powis castle is a nice day out), and a really warm and comfortable place to relax and just stay in watching the birds. We had such a good week.

Wow, theres nothing more that can be said about this cottage that has not been said before. This is 5* plus accommodation with the property owner Helen being the perfect host, she is amazing. The property is spotlessly clean and the garden is outstanding. Thank you Helen.

We had a lovely stay. The flat is nicely positioned, very comfortable and tastefully furnished and spotlessly clean. The bed is a comfortable and spacious zip and link and the bathroom is lovely. What a great week at Nyth Bryn Haul. The owners were the perfect hosts! We used the cottage as a base to do the first few stages of the Wye Valley Walk. On our rest days we enjoyed watching the birds in the garden (from the perfectly positioned sofa) and exploring the shops cafes and pubs of Llandidlos.

This is a thoroughly delightful property which is beautifully furnished It has a great view out over the gorgeous garden and very active bird life. The property is also supplied with a complete range of consumables and a beautiful welcome pack. The host was perfect too!. We would recommend this to anyone.

Lovely spotless clean accommodation. Ideal position for touring Powys. Had the added attraction of seeing different birds feeding from the bird feeders in the garden. It was so relaxing to see so many different birds. Hope to visit again.

What a wonderful cottage, perfect in every way. Helen and Phil were lovely hosts and very welcoming.
