Welcoming four guests, the stylish property makes the perfect base for couples or small families looking to connect with nature. Enjoy countryside walks directly from your front door, or head further afield to explore the woodland trails at Brechfa Forest (17 miles) or the exhilarating coast paths around Bae Ceredigion (7 miles). For shopping and eating out, the bustling town of Lampeter offers a great selection of independents, as does the university town of Aberystwyth (24 miles). For a day at the coast, journey to the colourful harbour town of Aberaeron (7.5 miles), to explore its boutiques and gift shops and stroll along the picturesque pebble shoreline. Just 7 miles from Aberaeron is the quaint fishing village of New Quay where you can join a sea safari and go looking for bottlenose dolphins along the coast.

Enter the stone cottage into the light and airy kitchen, where you’ll find all the equipment needed for a self-catering getaway and a central island to perch at with a morning coffee as you plan the day’s itinerary. From the kitchen, a few steps lead up to the inviting lounge/diner which is decorated in a contemporary style and has two chic sofas set around a Smart TV and a cosy wood burner – the ideal spot for snuggling up in front of a classic movie after a day of adventure. You’ll also find a dining table for sharing mealtimes as a group. A wooden staircase takes you up to the first floor, which is home to two tranquil king-size bedrooms. Both bedrooms feature plush linens and have their own Smart TVs, and one of the bedrooms has a Juliet balcony. Completing the accommodation is a refreshing bathroom. Please note, the rooms on the first floor have sloping ceilings, and you may experience restricted head height in some areas.

Outside, fire up the BBQ on a summer’s evening and enjoy a spot of al fresco dining on your private patio. Guests are invited to unwind in the on‑site spa facilities and enjoy access to the indoor swimming pool, which can be booked directly with the owner as an additional treat. We’re also delighted to share that the property features a charming mini zoo; a wonderful experience for guests of all ages, offering the chance to meet and learn about a variety of animals. Private parking is available for two cars. A security deposit of £150 will be collected on the day of your arrival. This deposit will be returned within 24 hours after check-out, provided the room is left in the same order it was found.

Overall this was set in a lovely rural location and the cottage was furnished to a high standard.
