An inspired escape in the heart of the Brecon Beacons National Park with romance and relaxation top of the agenda.

Walk straight into the cosy, open-plan living space, with wood burning stove, an unlimited supply of logs to burn (first basket included) and warming country prints to make you feel right at home. The flagstone floors (under floor heated, of course), lead you to the stylish kitchen where the most demanding of cooks will not be left wanting, chic and contemporary with all the gadgets, finished off with a pretty window seat over looking the courtyard and dining table for two.

Upstairs is a total delight, high ceilings, oak beams and a sumptuous bed and bathroom. A dash of warming red, making the bespoke super-king bed hugely inviting. The bathroom is our top room; huge, with double ended tub, wet room style shower and basin large enough to share, just the type of finish you would expect in the smartest of city hotels. Dressing gowns and fluffy towel, with toiletries by Noble Isle are included too ...just add bubbles to enjoy!

Outside, the garden is huge, fully enclosed and perfect for pooches. Two dogs are very welcome and more will be considered, please just drop us a line and tell us about them first. On the edge of a quiet village in the Brecon Beacons National Park, you can stroll to the village pub, splash out at Michelin starred restaurants or pamper yourself with a visit from our organic spa partners.

There are market towns aplenty too & it's well placed for Brecon Jazz, the Hay Festival and Green Man Festival. Pets and adventurous spirits will love exploring the National Park too and Pen y Fan, South Wales highest peak makes a great day walk from the door.

We really cannot say enough good things about this cosy little cottage, everything was absolutely perfect on our 4 day trip there. We stayed there during a very cold snap, but the property was lovely and warm, with a log burner to make things even more toasty. The kitchen was well fitted out, the bedroom super comfy, and the bathroom was an absolutRead moree dream, with an amazing 2 person bath as well as a great shower and lovely underfloor heathing. The cottage is truly beautiful and very well-equipped. Our cottage also had a very large garden, which we had private use of. The owners are very nice and dog-friendly. There was also a huge meadow where the dogs could run around. We really enjoyed our stay there and would love to go back.

A perfect place for a tranquile retreat! Away from the sound of traffic, the sound of other people, it is absolutely quiet here. In the neighbourhood, several good restaurants are available, plenty of opportunities to walk/hike in the Brecon Beacons National Park or in the Black Mountains, or visit ancient castles and ruins a bit further away.
