Wander into this two-storey, stone holiday home to find yourselves in the characterful lounge, with its revealed stonework, where you can watch TV together in the evenings or perhaps unwind with your book. Lovely, clean, and well appointed cottage in the heart of Brecon. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Stables, it had everything we needed to have a wonderful holiday for our wedding anniversary. We stayed over the recent heatwave and while the upstairs did get quite warm, there were fans provided to help us stay cool and the downstairs was quiteRead more cool. The location is close to some lovely walks and we were able to spend some time exploring the local area. The local dairy / ice cream shop was a 5 minute walk and was a godsend in the heat. Parking was a bit hairy at first but as soon as we got the hang of it, was straightforward enough. We would happily return to The Stables in the future (maybe when it's not quite so hot). Hide

We had a wonderful week at The Stables. It was a lovely cottage, hidden away despite being so centrally positioned and very quiet and cosy inside. Comfortable cottage but had a couple of issues. The enclosed garden/patio is just a small courtyard where the car is parked. There is no washing machine.

Secure parking. Great area for dog walking, and unlike other places, there is a hose outside to wash the dog down. This holiday home was perfect.
