The waterfalls of Blaen-y-Glyn are also a must for the itinerary – they’re particularly dramatic after a heavy downpour. For a slightly different perspective on the Brecon Beacons, enjoy a ride on the Brecon Mountain Railway, which takes you on a magical journey deep into the heart of the national park. Round off your day with a hearty meal in one of Talybont-on-Usk’s traditional village pubs.
