A lovely little retreat, perfect for two and conveniently located for access to Aberystwyth and aberaron. Although a slight hill and several steps is described. It is too steep and high steps for people with mobility issues. But otherwise is a perfect ortage for the area. We would stop again if it wasnt for the access.

The one bed cottage we stayed in is delightful. Tastefully decorated in a calm and tranquil setting. You will have to go up some steps to reach it, which for us just added to the whole quaint experience. Loved the peace and quiet, just the wind in the trees and the sound of birds and sheep! Although you are near the owners property, there is a rRead moreeal sense of being away from everything, so if you're looking for a get away from it all, this is a great cottage for that. We also loved that it was only about 12 minutes in the car in Aberystwyth with all it's quirky shops and the seafront. Hide

The property is far better than some we have stayed at and certainly the quietest! The owner is very helpful, even pulling my car out of the soft verge on the narrow road at the top of the track!

We just found the bedroom a little chilly but then again it's open plan, also a gate at the bottom of the stairs to discourage dogs from trying to get upstairs.

The cottage is lovely. Comfortable bed (though thin duvet and pillows), spacious, and well equipped for cooking. Beautiful views from the living room windows, and so peaceful. The little garden was perfect for our two dogs, and the table and chairs for us to sit and enjoy the beautiful weather we were lucky enough to get during our stay. The Read morefence between the properties is privacy fencing but you can still kind of see through, so if you have a reactive dog and theres a dog next door it could be a problem. Similarly, the living room window overlooks the owners garden. Theres privacy screening, but my dogs did bark when they saw their dogs pottering around. Wasnt a problem for us, but if you do have a reactive dog it wouldnt be suitable. Jonathon was really helpful when we first arrived, bringing us extra towels as Id messed up the booking and had only stated one adult Hide

A well appointed property with good internet connection and a smart TV. A great opportunity to try out a Quooker tap for yourself too - it's great. Be aware that the track from the road to the cottage is rough, a reminder of local roads in England after the luxury of the Welsh road surfaces. Lovely, peaceful location and our dog was secure in the little garden despite being a Houdini! The cottage is very well equipped inside and out and spotlessly clean. We were lucky with glorious weather but if it had been raining it would have been a comfortable place to read or do a jigsaw.
