Looking for the perfect site for a group getaway? This exclusive-use meadow retreat on the Welsh–English border offers a memorable glamping experience for up to 12 guests, complete with a hot tub. The three charming yurts are available to book out together – ideal for families or groups of friends travelling together. There’s a strong focus on low-impact living here, with natural materials used wherever possible. The surrounding countryside offers plenty to explore, from the tranquil lake and woodland walks at Llyn Bedydd (1.5 miles) to the historic grounds of Iscoyd Park (3 miles). For family-friendly adventures, Farm Adventure Shropshire (1 mile) is close by, while the market town of Whitchurch (6 miles) is where you’ll find shops, cafés, pubs and a mainline rail station. Further afield, plan scenic day hikes through the Clwydian Range and Dee Valley (15 miles) for sweeping views and pretty picnics in the wild.
The three yurts, each sleeping four, are thoughtfully designed with cosy open-plan spaces and wood burners for comfort and warmth. Each features a cosy queen-size bed and a pull-out double sofa bed. Compact cooking areas within each yurt allow for simple meal preparation during private, quieter moments away from the group.
Outside, each yurt has its own private garden space with seating, a BBQ and a fire pit. For group cooking, you’ll have a shared kitchen located in the large communal shed, which also houses one private wet room for each yurt. The shed also acts as a central hub for the group, complete with games, a pool table, table tennis, comfortable seating, a wood burner, and a bar area, making it perfect for socialising and unwinding together. Plan group activities and games in the wider meadow or enjoy a soak in the private hot tub, which is attached to one of the yurts. There’s on-site parking so that departures and arrivals are straightforward.
