This spacious and bright bijou cottage offers ample accommodation for up to four guests and two dogs, perfect for discovering the friendly seaside resort of Aberdyfi (also known as Aberdovey). Enjoying glorious views of Snowdonia’s mountains as they meet the sea, the village offers a wide range of activities including golf, canoeing, paddleboarding and sailing.
The airy and inviting open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner provides an ideal space for everyone to unwind at the end of a great day. With a Smart TV and plenty of seating, the lounge is the perfect spot to snuggle up, watch a movie or chat into the night. The central dining area is great for sharing all your favourite meals which you can rustle up in the stylish kitchen. The ground floor also features an invigorating shower room. Upstairs, the first floor features a choice of two bright, relaxing bedrooms. There’s a double room and a bunk bedroom with 3’ bunks and French doors. Outside, the bench to the front of the cottage provides a chance to sit back and take in the sea air. Head through to the small private decked terrace at the back – accessed via the bunk bedroom – which makes a charming location for dining alfresco on a summer’s evening.
Sitting along the River Dyfi, the picturesque harbour resort of Aberdyfi has a glorious beach just 400 metres from the cottage. There’s also a fabulous choice of independent shops, pubs and restaurants serving local seafood nearby. Aberdyfi is a great base for venturing into the southern reaches of Snowdonia National Park, and there are plenty of opportunities for sailing, rowing, yachting, surfing and fishing amongst magical scenery.
