Perfect for two, this cosy shepherd’s hut sits in a wonderfully rural location with walks from your door. The World Heritage Site of Ironbridge and AONBs are close to home, so after a day filled with exploring, come home where the wood burner effect electric fire welcomes you back from the great outdoors with open arms. Stay cosy inside or bask in the fresh air and fire up the BBQ for a sizzling banquet before bed.

Country style flows throughout this romantic hut where you can savour date night dinners or cosy film evenings. Natural tones complement the pretty patterns which dot the open-plan living space and create an inviting ambience helping you to relax and unwind away from the hustle and bustle of your everyday routine. Create your favourite spreads in the elegant kitchen area before tucking in inside or out and sipping al fresco tipples in your private garden. Wash clothes fresh from adventure in the shared utility room and while away time exploring the farm and meeting your bovine neighbours. After a peaceful sleep in the gorgeous double bedroom, lace up your shoes and head outside once more.

With so much to see, the World Heritage Site of Ironbridge (5.5 miles) is a great place to start exploring. Follow well-trodden trails and marvel at the gorge before visiting the Victorian village and uncovering tales of years gone by. There are a handful of National Trust properties nearby including the 18th-century estate at Attingham Park (7.5 miles), the historic family home of Benthall Hall (7.5 miles) and the enchanted wooded parkland at Dudmaston (19 miles).

A lovely place to stay in a beautiful part of the country. The lodge was compact but comfortable and well equipped. In the end we wished we had booked a week, but we will return sRead moreoon. Hide
