A bright and spacious country property situated on a leafy 80-acre estate in the heart of the Brecon Beacons, this rural escape is perfect for multi-generational family gatherings and group reunions with a couple of furry friends in tow. Embark on a leisurely ling di long through the bluebell-speckled forest trail at Cwm Rhaeadr, before popping a bottle and watching the sun slip below the horizon from the hot tub.

This traditional property features a modern interior styled in calming neutral tones with vibrant pops of red. Store outdoor gear in the hallway then pad through to the kitchen and get busy prepping a post-adventure spread for the hungry troops. Little sous chefs can perch at the island to assist with prep while the appointed bartender ensures delicious drinks keep flowing. Tempt everyone into the light-dappled dining room with the comforting aromas of family favourite dishes then gather around the long wooden table and raise a glass to your special occasion. Retire to the lounge with a sweet treat and snuggle up on the sofas with an evening film. As the night draws in, ascend the staircase to the sleeping areas on the first floor including an en-suite king, a family room with four singles, a single, a twin, and a small double. Push open the glass patio doors and bask in the morning sun from the patio or fire up the BBQ for a grilled al fresco feast.

Step out and venture along the fragrant woodland trails of Glandwr Forest or discover the delights of Llandovery, 6 miles, and potter through the quaint cobbled streets to sample some freshly baked goods at the local ty coffi (coffee house). Thrill seekers can throw themselves into a scenic mountain bike session through the rolling valleys of the Cwm Rhaeadr Route, 5 miles. Ale lovers and the bog snorkelling curious among you will be right at home in the quirky town of Llanwrtyd Wells, 9 miles.

We had a lovely family stay this Christmas at Kite stables. The house was warm, clean and welcoming. The hot tub was great, and we enjoyed walking around the farm. The location is beautiful and Llandovery had a large co-op for essentials and lots of shops, pubs and cafes to visit. We would definitely recommend staying here.

This is a great cottage for a big group, we stayed as a party of 11 and had a lovely week in this very pretty area. There are lots of great places to visit within an hours drive and its a lovely walk up the lane to viaduct. There are lots owners were very friendly and I would definitely recommend this cottage.

The accommodation was lovely, spacious, clean and in a very picturesque ideal location. My family and I loved spending Christmas there and would definitely go again. The owner was really nice, polite and accommodating. The hot tub was also a bonus which the older kids and some of the adults loved to use.
