Treat yourselves to a special stay in this two-bedroom apartment in the picturesque, seaside village of Aberdyfi. Set less than 100 metres from the sandy beach and with views out across an area of greenery and then towards the Dyfi Estuary and the sea, the duplex holiday home sleeps four guests and offers comfortable, light-filled accommodation. From here, indulge in fun family days out on the beach; try paddleboarding, surfing or canoeing, or arrange a boat trip out to go fishing or wildlife watching in the blue waters of gorgeous Bae Ceredigion.

Let yourselves into your private apartment, set above an ice cream and sweet shop, and climb the stairs up to your open-plan lounge/diner, with its bay window that faces seawards. Settle in here after days on the sand and in the sea, or long coastal walks, to relax for a while, read your books and perhaps watch a little TV or a DVD. Take turns preparing tasty meals for your family through in the compact yet well-equipped kitchen. Find a WC, plus a family shower room, which also accommodates a washing machine/dryer, at this level too. Make your way up to the first floor to a double bedroom and a bunk bedroom. Wake up to glorious sea views, have a quick breakfast then wander straight over to the beach. Guests will receive one permit to park in the village car parks, one of which is just 200 metres from the apartment.

Enjoy your proximity to the many amenities of Aberdyfi, including the shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs. Head 5 miles to Tywyn to explore different outlets and eateries or for a change of beach scene. Take the children into Snowdonia National Park; drive 10 miles to Corris, where they can enjoy the underground tunnels and caverns of exciting King Arthur’s Labyrinth.

This apartment location was great, can't understand why money is not been spent to upgrade, this was the 3rd year there and we really hoped they would have taken on board comments from last year, but no. For this reason we won't be staying there again.

A little dated with some minor repairs required but very comfy bed, sofas old but comfortable. washer dryer useful A few distractions Music from shop some dated equipment but great value for money, more secure Wifi preferable and new TV required.

Great little apartment with its own rustic charm. We love it and that's why we've been back to the same place 8 times

Flat is in a fantastic location and has everything you would need for a holiday. The toilet being on a different floor to the bedrooms make it unsuitable for older people and small children.

Lovely location, a few minor faults in the property which wouldn't take much to rectify. Not expensive.

These comments are things which could enhance a stay at the Sweet Shop. Limited instructions about cottage amenities such as where water can be turned on. Toilet system needs attention. Fridge ice box totally iced up, TV very old model, hand set disfunctional due to age. No side blinds to lounge window. Limited cutlery only 3 tea spoons. What a great view and a lovely window seat for watching the world go by. A few items to be attended to but a call rectified a kitchen light issue efficiently whilst we were at the apartment. Perhaps requires an upgrade but a very cosy apartment and a very comfy bed.

The apartment is in a wonderful location, convenient for everything. The kitchen is a little small, we moved the microwave to the bathroom, when not in use so that we had a work surface. The apartment is in need of tlc but very comfortable.

Nicely positioned flat. The views were lovely and the main bed was very comfortable. The shower was good and there was always plenty of hot water. The car park pass was an added bonus. The stairs from the shop to the flat are very narrow. The flat is looking very shabby in parts and would benefit from a little tlc.
