Tucked away in a wooded valley in the Welsh countryside, this beautiful property offers families the chance to escape their hectic pace of life. Occupying a secluded position, there are plenty of picturesque walks from your doorstep, allowing you to immerse yourselves in rural tranquillity. Despite its remote location, you’re only 5.5 miles from the coastal town of Aberporth, where you’ll find a pub, some shops and two sandy beaches.

Sympathetically restored with exposed stone walls and beams throughout, you’ll soon feel at home in this light and airy property. Original features and unique pieces of furniture add charm and character, whilst neutral tones and stylish accents bring it into the 21st century. The country kitchen is large and well-equipped for all your needs, and the lounge/diner is spacious, yet cosy, with a wood burner for cooler evenings. The four bedrooms are immaculately presented, some of which have vaulted ceilings, while the two bathrooms are delightful, and one includes a pink roll-top bath. To the rear of the property, there is a large patio for al fresco dining. From here, you can explore the garden and woodland below.

With plenty of walks/cycle rides from your doorstep, you’ll be able to explore the natural beauty of the Welsh countryside on two feet or two wheels. If you prefer the coast, the ancient town of Cardigan, the ‘gateway to the Teifi Valley and the Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire Coastal Paths’, is only 6.5 miles away. Both Cardigan Bay and the Pembrokeshire National Park have stunning and safe beaches to explore as well as a range of seaside towns/villages such as New Quay and Aberaeron (within 20 miles). Here you’ll find a selection of shops and eateries offering local crafts and delicacies.

We had a lovely time here and would certainly recommend this as a place to stay. The property is in an idyllic location and the cottage is full of charm and character. The master room with the en-suite was great for us with our dogs. The surrounding area of the property was perfect for our dogs to roam in and for us to relax and unwind with our friRead moreends. There is small and friendly community and lots of fabulous, local places to visit. We will certainly return again in the future. Loved it! Hide
