Providing stunning views towards Cardigan Bay, this delightful Swiss-style timber lodge provides fresh and cosy holiday accommodation perfect for families and couples exploring a spectacular part of the Welsh coast. With ample space for up to four guests and two dogs, the cabin overlooks the bustling coastal village of Aberdyfi (also known as Aberdovey), and is set in a peaceful hillside holiday park. Featuring a relaxing veranda and beautiful scenery, this charming chalet is just a mile from the heart of the village, and within easy reach of a championship golf course and a wonderful long sandy beach.

A few steps lead up onto the decked veranda and through to the chalet’s spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. With plenty of light streaming in through the glass-fronted facade and large windows, the beautiful lounge provides an ideal space to snuggle up and watch a favourite movie. The dining area makes a lovely space to get together to enjoy a family meal which you can whip up in the stylishly designed kitchen. Exploring this welcoming cabin further, you will find an invigorating family bathroom and two delightful bedrooms: a relaxing king and a peaceful twin. At the end of the day, the veranda to the front of the chalet provides a fantastic, sheltered spot to sit back with a cup of tea or a glass of wine, take in the far-reaching sea views or curl up with a good book.

Aberdyfi is just a mile away, home to plenty of great places to eat and drink, as well as a sandy beach and popular golf course. The chalet makes a great base for exploring the mountains and woodlands of the southern reaches of Snowdonia, or you can take a stroll along the Wales Coast Path to the enchanting seaside resort of Tywyn (5.5 miles).

Amazing location - comfy and cosy cabin. We traveled by train which worked really well, maybe worth considering the steep walk from town to the cabin if youre doing the same! Totally worth it every time for the fabulous views though. We had everything we needed and absolutely loved our stay. Tesco deliver to the site which is very handy.

Aberdovey is a lovely town with several great little cafes, and the Dovey Arms pub is definitely worth a visit. The lodge itself is in a wonderful position with views to die for...if it stops raining, which unfortunately we had rather a lot of during our weeks visit, but we are all at the mercy of the British weather. It's certainly an interestingRead more drive up to the park dodging the odd cow or sheep on the way! The lodge is well equipped with everything you would need for your holiday, had a cracking nights sleep, whether that was to do with the very comfortable bed, or the amount of exercise we were getting I'm not sure. One word of warning. Although the lodge description on the website does clearly state that is not suitable for those with walking difficulties, I would suggest that it adds "Totally unsuitable for those requiring mobility scooter, or wheelchair access" as this is next to impossible. All in all a good stay in a beautiful area which we hope to return to in the near future, but possibly somewhere, in our case, a little more user friendly. Hide
