A lovely period cottage 3 miles from the walled market town of Conwy. This dog-friendly cottage features bright and cheerful living areas, a delightful rear porch and an enclosed garden enjoying views of Conwy Bay. It is all set up for a couple or two friends seeking a holiday nest with easy access to the North Wales coast and Snowdonia National Park.

Set off a residential street in the shadow of a rugged mountain range, this two-storey cottage has a homely ambience, with period features and rustic soft furnishings found across its bright and naturally-lit rooms. The lounge has a parquet floor and is a cosy place to curl up and enjoy a night in after a long day out. The small kitchen/diner has all the room required to create and savour romantic meals prepared using local foodstuffs. A nearby porch is a fitting setting for quiet time with a book or just absorbing the mountain views beyond. Upstairs, the twin bedroom, which can be turned into a double upon request, offers sea and mountain views, while a spacious shower room is the perfect place to recharge. The enclosed rear garden has been arranged to make the most of the views and is a tranquil setting for quiet reflection and BBQ suppers with four-pawed friends snoozing close by.

There is so much for friends and couples to explore in the local area. Numerous paths and trails are located close to the cottage, and the scores of stunning peaks that call the northern fringe of Snowdonia National Park home start within 2 miles. Conwy and Llanfairfechan (both 3 miles) offer dog-friendly attractions as well as shops, sports and cultural attractions, and the Isle of Anglesey lies 14.5 miles away.

Fantastic cottage in a wonderful village with easy access to all the north coast has to offer. Beautiful views and a dog safe garden. Loved curling up in front of the fire in the evenings. Shop, pub and beach in walking distance. Just a short drive to Conwy, Llandudno and Anglesey. Hope to return.

We enjoyed our week at the cottage which was in a good location for visiting the local areas. The front and back gardens need some attention as they are rather overgrown. Kitchen was well equipped but as other guests have mentioned in the visitor book the oven is almost impossible to light.
