We absolutely loved every second, cottage is perfect, everything you require is provided. For us the location is fantastic, nobody is around to bother you. As its a working farm there are occasional times the owners carry out necessary tasks but they werent invasive of our privacy at all and we found it interesting, the owners were very friendly anRead mored accommodating. Its close enough to drive to many walks and restaurants. We also thoroughly enjoyed a go at clay pigeon shooting nearby. Sunday lunch at The Black Lion in Derwenlas was amazing and wed definitely recommend! There is a lot of great wildlife about to see. Hot tub was a bonus. We would definitely 100% recommend. Hide

Wonderful cottage, just right for the two of us and our dog. Everything there that we needed. Excellent communication with the owner. Hot tub was a plus, and the view from that platform was amazing. Would definitely come back if the weather could be guaranteed! Had a great holiday there. Thanks to Prys and his family. Hide

We throughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage. At the time of booking (via phone call) we were not told that the property was not accepting children to stay. The owner still honoured the booking despite this. We actually found the cottage and the area very toddler friendly. Travelling with a tractor/farm enthusiast Dylan (age 2.8) found all the farmRead more the buildings and working farm / watching sheep in barn right next to cottage such good fun! We went on some walks around the farm land as well, quite intense for little legs but fantastic and so worth it for the views. Meeting the cows and sheep along the way. We also had a lucky meeting with the Dyfi Donkeys down the lane. The cottage is well heated, really spacious and very peaceful. It has most things you need for self catering holiday. Come stocked up as no local shop. WiFi has strong signal despite feeling very rural. Theres large tv and comfy lounge for relaxing. Big fridge/freezer and washing machine. We visited many areas from this base and found travelling around the area easy. Machynlleth Comedy Festival was close by and easy to drive to and from. Appreciated the welcome Prosecco and biscuits very much thank you. If the rules ever change about children being welcome we would love to go back. Hide

We really enjoyed our week staying in this very well equipped cottage. Freedom to roam in this beautiful setting was great for taking in the views of the surrounding countryside. Prys, the owner, helped to resolve a problem with the TV.
