Nestled beside the Snowdonia National Park in the quiet town of Bethesda, this homely cottage invites you to explore by day and relax by night. Arrive to a delightful welcome pack filled with goodies and set foot inside to find charm and character spilling from every room. Perfect for adventurers and lovers of the great outdoors, Snowdonia’s peaks, trails and lakes are waiting to be discovered and the glittering seas of North Wales are well worth a visit.

Step through the blossoming garden and find yourself amid stained-glass windows, exposed beams and gorgeous stonework creating a welcoming, homely feel. Transform the pretty lounge space into a cosy heart of the home by firing up the wood burner so you can spend evenings curled up by dancing flames and crackling logs with the Smart TV/DVD on in the background. Rustle up feasts in the kitchen where the country feel gets a smattering of contemporary style, and you can pop the kettle on for a warming brew. The charm continues outside where you’ll find a sun terrace perfect for evening tipples, and a secret garden with a trickling stream. Getting tucked up beneath cosy covers is a treat at this bolthole, with one bedroom on both the first and second floors, both are beautiful spaces in which to doze off.

A trip to Bethesda simply must include a day trip or two venturing into the Snowdonia National Park. Mount Snowdon is 21 miles from home and if you fancy saving your legs the hard work, board the Snowdon Mountain Railway and marvel at the panoramic views. For the adventurous among you, Zip World (2 miles) and Surf Snowdonia (23.5 miles) are well worth a trip, or you could enjoy a relaxing day on the coast at Dinas Dinlle Beach (17 miles).

We stayed here with friends and had a great time. The cottage is superb. It is tastefully decorated, comfy and very well equipped. Both beds very comfortable. A lovely welcome pack with home made cake and drinks awaited us. Unfortunately after a red hot week we had cool days and rain but we still got out every day to sightsee.
