Set right in the heart of Mumbles, this quaint cottage is perfect for a family-friendly break for six. It is perfect for exploring the wonderful coast and beaches of this picturesque corner of Wales and is right on the doorstep of the Mumbles Hill Local Nature Reserve, which leads around the headland and connects to the coastal walking routes. Mumbles Beach (300 metres) has a lovely sandy and rocky shoreline with rock pooling and paddling opportunities that will keep everyone busy. Slightly further afield is Langland Bay (2 miles), where you can surf and enjoy other water sports, and the stunning Three Cliffs Bay (8 miles), which is backed by limestone cliffs and castle ruins.

Park your car safely in the garage and head down the pathway to the house via the garden. Shake off your walking boots and beach gear in the hallway before heading through to the pleasant shaker-style kitchen, which has all the cooking appliances and amenities you could need. A breakfast bar separates the kitchen and lounge area so you can easily socialise together. The lounge has a warming wood burner and a Smart TV for cosy evenings in. Look out the windows and admire the far-reaching views across the bay. The family bathroom completes this level, which has a separate shower and a sumptuous roll-top bath for a relaxing soak. Upstairs, the three bedrooms are all bright and airy. You can choose from a spacious king-size, a welcoming double, or a double mattress approached by a wooden ladder.

Outside, there are two spaces to enjoy an evening tipple in the Welsh air. A pretty patio area which is enclosed and has seating and a BBQ, and a separate, elevated terrace area reached via stone steps that has artificial grass and further seating, as well as distant sea views. At the rear of the cottage is a small patio area with uninterrupted views over Mumbles and Swansea bay.
