A stunning stone cottage on a working farm with easy access to all the sights of North Wales. An idyllic retreat for county and nature lovers, walkers and cyclists. Just 1 mile away, you’ll find Llanrwst, a striking market town on the banks of the River Conwy with plenty of shops, eateries and amenities. At the mouth of the river lies the town of Conwy (13 miles), whose spectacular castle is one of Wales’s’ must-see sights. In addition, Eryri - the Snowdonia National Park, with its mountains and hiking and biking trails, begins just 10 miles away.

This lovely stone cottage has been converted from a stable building into a comfortable, characterful holiday home. The open plan living space is a lovely room with a beamed ceiling and polished wooden floorboards. It includes a comfortable lounge, compact yet well-equipped kitchen, and a dining table beside large windows, allowing you to enjoy the rural view as you eat. Also on the ground floor is a utility room with a washing machine and dryer, and a bathroom with a bath and shower. On the first floor you’ll find two bedrooms, one double and one twin, each with beamed ceilings, oak flooring, and pine furniture. The twin bedroom also features a glass door leading out to the original external staircase.

I loved the fact this cottage was in the middle of nowhere. The views were spectacular. The cottage was warm and comfortable with all the equipment we needed. Loads of towels and owners supplied cleaning stuff too. They were very accommodating and friendly and we got to help with herding the cattle which was good fun!

This little place was a great stay for us. Comfortable, well equipped and super clean and the shower was amazingly powerful.Whilst there was only 2 of us, there was plenty of room for 4. We used it as a base for days out with mountain bikes, so there was plenty of room to park up the van and lots of great places to go within easy reach.

The cottage and owners were fantastic, it was clean, well equipped and had plenty of space for our needs, being located in a rural area resulted in nice quiet nights sleep. The views from the cottage were awesome and with lambing season in full swing this added an extra element to our stay - fascinating. The only thing we struggled with was findiRead moreng eating places nearby not a fault of the cottage of course and probably just something that is season dependent). In summary it was a great location to explore the local area with access to scenic drives and tourist attractions whichever way you headed and only a short drive away, I'd love to come back to explore even more when the weather is a bit better.
