We had a lovely stay at this cottage. It was very clean and comfortable. Mr and Mrs Matthews were lovely and were incredibly welcoming to us and excited to hear about our plans for our stay. They were very accomodating and the kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed for meals (and with welshcakes, tea, coffee and milk provided). The locRead moreation of this cottage is beautiful and has valley and farmland views. We had a very minor (and rare) issue of a flock of swans hitting the electricity cables which took our power out temporarily but Mrs Matthews came over and checked in on us and gave us everything we needed to stay warm and comfortable and we treated it as an adventure! My friend and I would definitely book again. It was such a wonderful place for a great price - you won't be disappointed. Hide

My brother and I spent a week staying in a cottage on Carneddau farm in early Sept this year with a view to photograph local landscapes. We had a wonderful time here. The cottage was very well situated and appointed, with all the conveniences required for the stay. We even had some essentials of milk, tea, coffee and Welsh cakes provided for our arRead morerival which were much appreciated! The cottage itself was spotlessly clean, beds were very comfortable and we could not have wished for better. Our hosts Margaret and Rob could not have been more helpful. They provided us with a number of tips for things to see locally and were great fun to talk to. This is a beautiful part of the world and although the weather could have been kinder, we had a throughly enjoyable stay. Many thanks Margaret and Rob and hope to see you again in the not too distant future! Hide

It took little or no time to feel at home in the cosy and comfortable "Darnedd Dafydd". Kitchen and utility room are well-equipped. Beds, furniture and appliances: all is good quality and there is enough space for four. We especially appreciated the friendly atmosphere on this working farm.
