Handcrafted, the wooden exterior blends into its natural setting. Inside, there’s an open-plan living space, with a separate shower room to the rear. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you’ll need to cook up a light lunch or an evening meal, which you can eat inside at the breakfast bar or outside on the terrace. The sofa is positioned in front of the TV, with the double bed beyond that. Outside, there is a BBQ and a fire pit for al fresco cooking.
The biggest attraction here is undoubtedly the stunning scenery. The Brecon Beacons National Park lies to the west with its many lakes, waterfalls and caves to discover, as well as its endless routes/trails for walkers and cyclists. For something different, the bustling market town of Abergavenny is 6 miles away, with other towns such as Crickhowell and Raglan, famous for its castle, within 12 miles. To take to the water, head to Goytre Wharf (7 miles) where you can enjoy a number of activities on the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal.
