Set on a working farm with picturesque views of the lakes and luscious Welsh countryside, this gorgeous property is the perfect peaceful getaway for family or friends. Take in the fresh air by strolling around the marked footpaths before creating a delicious meal to enjoy al fresco. The Brecon Beacons, Wye Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and the Forest of Dean are all within reach - ideal for keen hikers and bikers. Sleeping eight and furnished with incredible attention to detail, a tranquil atmosphere radiates through this beautiful barn.

Despite its sophisticated contemporary decor, the barn still retains its country charm with original features including exposed wooden beams and vaulted ceilings. After leaving coats in the porch, make yourself at home in the sociable open-plan living area. Large windows let light flood in and provide stylish seating areas with scenic views. Plan the day ahead in the armchairs or settle down for a family film night on the comfortable sofas. Whip up something special in the modern kitchen, which is well-equipped with a handy utility room for additional preparation space. There are two bedrooms on the ground floor and two on the first floor, all conveniently with en-suites. The soothing minimalist decor ensures restful sleep amidst the gentle sounds of nature. Sit back and admire the panoramic views from the outdoor seating area or fire up the BBQ on a sunny afternoon.

A variety of popular walks can be found nearby, from the gentler peaks of Garway Hill 4 miles away with views over Herefordshire and the Bristol Channel, to challenging hikes including Sugar Loaf and Blorenge within 20 miles. Head to the River Wye (30 miles) for kayaking or take a picnic to the Forest of Dean (17 miles), wandering through the historic woodlands. Visit fascinating castles such as Pembridge or Goodrich, both within 10 miles.

Delightful, large well equipped converted barn in a lovely location. Immaculate grounds with two large lakes, Canada geese and moorhens to see. Quality bed linen and modern en suites in all four bedrooms. A welcome gift and flowers was a lovely touch. In all a well thought out and presented property. Highly recommended.
