The Skirrid Hideaway has been finished to a very high standard, and cleverly maximises the space above what is one of the cleanest, and best tearooms I've been in - fantastic full Welsh breakfast. Extremely comfortable, and a great base for touring the surrounding Brecon Beacons area - which is quite astonishingly beautiful. Recommended without hesRead moreitation. Hide

The hideaway was in a excellent location for all the popular walks in the area. We had a very enjoyable week here with lovely weather. Owners were very friendly and the cafe below made a lovely breakfast. We would definitely recommend staying here.

My wife and I recently enjoyed a great weekend, staying in the Skirrid Hideway. It's lovely place and equipped with everything we needed for a long weekend. Mr Davies, the owner was so friendly and helpful and it's in a great location for exploring the Brecon Beacons. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend!

Went for two night stay with my boyfriend. Greeted with a warm welcome by Mr Davies and had a lovely time. Shower, kitchen facilities, television and bedroom were more than adequate. No complaints at all from myself or the boyfriend.

Good location, close to the Skirrid - good stiff walk. Very clean and exceptionally well presented. Warm with dverything you'd need for that short break away. Splendid cafe on site. Not to be missed if the area suits

The owners were very friendly and accommodating. The tea room served delicious food. Lovely welcoming cosy pubs nearby, some very expensive. All in all a lovely, comfortable, clean and relaxing place to stay with lovely views of hills and mountains and lots and lots of sheep.

A beautiful property in a beautiful location. The owners Tracey and Mike where very welcoming with a cup of tea in the tearooms. Highley recommended for a couples get away. Great for hikers as it is overlooked by the Skirrid mountain and a great bolt hole for the Brecon beacons.

The Skirrid Hideaway was a perfect place for us to unwind and spend a short weekend away in October. Easy access to the Skirrid mountain for great walks and the cafe beneath served amazing breakfast and cakes. The owners were friendly and went out of their way to help, they even arranged us our taxi to the restaurant we had booked.
