If you have time to escape this vibrant town, there’s much to see further afield, Stokesay Castle, Wenlock Priory and Severn Valley Railway.

You are greeted by a uniquely designed bar area and a fantastic large open-plan living/dining room with seating for up to 14 people. This is a beautiful space created for entertaining and further enhanced by the elegant interior. The living area has views of the river from the far end and architect-designed arched windows offering views onto the garden. For special occasions, you also have the option to hire a private chef to cook dinner, which can be arranged with the owners. There is also an additional cloakroom and WC on this floor. Take the staircase from the kitchen up to the ground floor where you find an area with a selection of books, and a snug/TV room with sofas making it ideal for children to hang out in. Also on the ground floor is the master bedroom suite, a luxurious and spacious room with a super king-size bed and large glazed doors leading to a private balcony overlooking the river, TV and a separate sitting room with sofa bed and en-suite bathroom, steam shower room and WC. An outstanding property. Very well equipped and very comfortable. We rented the house for my wifes birthday and had 10 people staying plus another 10 joining us during the day. For this kind of event it was absolutely perfect.

What an amazing house in a fantastic setting. We had a warm welcome, and the house is spectacular and perfect for a family celebration. We couldnt have asked for any more and are already missing the gentle sound of the river in the morning.

Fabulous house with a beautiful garden in a wonderful location, situated on the river and a short walk to the town centre. There are many nearby places to eat and we particularly enjoyed swimming in the river.

Amazing house - luxurious ensuites and sitting areas for all the rooms; adored the kitchen which was the best equipped we have encountered; a range of outdoor seating options. Fantastic location (5 minute walk) for visiting all the shops, delis and restaurants in Ludlow itself. Walks and river on the doorstep for those more active/with dogs.

A beautiful position and a great house for family gatherings & celebrations. Having the Mill House annex is really useful for relatives or friends who may want slightly more privacy. The outside space was ideal for an evening BBQ and the veranda adjoining the main bedroom was great for a pre-dinner glass of Champers with lovely sunset views. We had a great time during our stay at The Weir House, the location is excellent for Ludlow Castle and town centre (N.B. up a reasonable steep hill) plus scenic walks along the river Teme. A children's park is also conveniently located less than 100 metres. The property is substantial in size, and can be a bit of a maze at first, however it provideRead mores excellent living space for 12 people with the ability to spread out and have privacy for individual families. The Michelin star kitchen was unbelievable! And we really enjoyed cooking there and eating round the big table . We would love to come back! Hide
