The main hub of this home is the open-plan living space with two comfortable sofas, a footstool and a TV for cosy evenings spent at home. Beneath the light, bright window is a rustic dining table for mealtimes, be it a home-cooked feast or a takeaway from the town. Next door is the pastel-hued kitchen which is fully equipped for your stay. The first of the bedrooms is a thoughtfully decorated double with characterful exposed beams across the vaulted ceiling and a pretty quaint window allowing natural light in whilst the second is a bunk room, perfect for children. Completing the property is a bathroom and you’ll have access to the shared laundry room too. Sunny days can be spent on the shared patio area which features picnic tables and a BBQ or exploring the grounds collecting free-range eggs and meeting the friendly farmyard animals. Abergavenny is a fantastic location for foodies, with an annual food festival and an array of independent eateries where you can stop off for a bite to eat before heading out on one of the many walking trails. Take the footpath to Crickhowell which stretches just under 9 miles along the calming canal which is speckled with wildflowers between wide open stretches of farmland.
