Beautifully finished holiday cottage set in idyllic South Shropshire countryside. Enjoy a peaceful break with friends and family, with the Shropshire Hills providing a stunning backdrop. Explore the nearby Montgomery (5 miles) and enjoy a walk around the medieval castle or a drink in one of the local pubs. Just 15 miles away is the picturesque Church Stretton, a bustling market town right in the heart of the Shropshire Hills. Enjoy a walk along the National Trust-owned Long Mynd or enjoy looking around the independent shops. Kerry Vale Vineyard (6 miles) is an award-winning family vineyard, well worth a visit for a spot of wine tasting or to enjoy one of their many events.

After a busy day exploring the idyllic local walks, head back to your beautifully restored cottage for some quality time with friends and family. The fully equipped country-style kitchen has everything you need for a self-catered break, or perhaps an evening of private dining with a local chef. Off the kitchen is the utility room with a useful WC. The separate dining room is a wonderful room to enjoy some food together and enjoy some quality time with your group. The spacious lounge is kitted out with comfortable sofas and a Smart TV, perfect for relaxing and enjoying one of your favourite movies. Head upstairs and you will find three bedrooms, two king-size and one twin, ideal for families or friends looking to explore this stunning corner of Shropshire. Also, upstairs is a family bathroom and a separate shower room.

The outside space for this property really makes use of the stunning scenery with a pagoda with a fire pit and BBQ for you to be able to dine alfresco or simply enjoy a drink after an active day amongst the Shropshire Hills. A real highlight of the property is the hot tub which again allows you to take in the fantastic views. The benefit of the rural location is the clear skies, and we highly recommend some stargazing from the hot tub which is truly spectacular.

Wonderful cottage in a great location. Beautiful scenery and amazing cottage facilities. Literally nothing I can say to improve the cottage or the gardens - you have thought of everything.

I think the biggest compliment to any holiday stay, is when nobody wants to go home at the end of he break. From the moment we walked into the barn we fell in love with the place. The interior is plush and all the fixtures and fittings really good quality, a lot of thought has clearly gone into making the accommodation work. The outside space is brRead moreilliant too, with a lovely secure walled-garden, which our 6 year old loved, a comfy seating area and the cleanest hot tub we have ever encountered. The water in the tub was sparkling clean and was a lovely relaxing focal point for the end of the day after walking on the estate or nearby towns! All in all - for us - just perfect.. Hide

We really enjoyed our stay at Camlad Barn - there was plenty of space downstairs in the kitchen and living rooms, and everything was very clean. The outside was tidy and spacious, the hot tub was a big plus. The bedrooms and bathrooms were also very comfortable.
