Whether you plan to conquer the hills, snooze in the local spa, or just stroll to the local watering hole, this romantic retreat is well positioned for it all.
Step past your private terrace, with outdoor dining table and barbeque at the ready, into the light, bright kitchen. Complete with walnut units, granite work surfaces and every gadget needed for rustling up a romantic meal for two. We loved the mid-century design notes and vibrant wall, proving the cottage doesn't take itself too seriously.
Generous throughout, nowhere more so than the double height sitting room, with huge glass doors flooding the room with light and elegant drapes for hibernating a little later in the day. Power up the wood burning stove, flick on the Smart TV and settle down to catch up on some of your favourite flicks on the Blu-Ray Player.
Upstairs the bathroom is boutique hotel standard, a double ended tub for soothing aching limbs after a day in the hills, with pillows on each end it's perfect for sharing. There is also a wet room area, with some funky lighting which change colour as the shower heats up! For those looking for the ultimate in relaxation, our Organic Spa partners can arrange to visit you, with massage tables and soothing oils at a time of your choosing.
The sumptuous super-king size bedroom is pure bliss, complete with mood lighting, a Nespresso coffee machine and a fabulous nights sleep just about guaranteed!
In a fabulous location; book lined Hay on Wye, the industrial heritage of the Welsh Valleys and some of best walking in the National Park all in very easy reach...not to mention the large meadow to picnic in and a pub within a mile!
For those who enjoy discovering great local food alongside a bit of exercise, there is a very pretty Brecon & Monmouth Canal Food Trail which can be followed from the door, leaflets are available in the cottage on arrival to guide you along the way....just our kind of walk, a pub at every turn!
