Upon entering this characterful pod you’ll be greeted by the open-plan living space with two sofas where you can sprawl out and relax surrounded by the curved wooden walls. By a skylight window, you’ll find the kitchenette, which has a two-ring hob and microwave to allow you to cater for yourself during your stay, with a stylish dining table for four where you can gather around for breakfast to plan your day ahead. Along the corridor, you’ll find the shower room which has natural light from a window in the curved wall and a quirky style. Finally, when it’s time to head to bed, there are two bedrooms, a king-size and a twin, where you can lay your head and sink into a deep slumber before waking up refreshed and ready for your next adventure. As the sun starts to set, wander outside to listen to the crackle of the fire pit and take a dip in the warm water of the hot tub for a great way to end the day.
Make your way into the town of Rhayader (3 miles) to pick up tasty local produce to make up for a picnic and head deep into the Elan Valley (6 miles) for the waterfall walk where you’ll find a spectacular spot to set down and eat beside the cascading water. For a slower-paced day, why not treat yourself to a trip on the Llandrindod Lake on your choice of vessel, be it a stand up paddleboard or a pedalo? Here you can indulge in a coffee and cafe after your session and soak up the gorgeous views that surround you.
