Bird lovers will be thrilled by a visit to Gigrin Farm to observe the Red Kite Feeding Station in Rhayader (3 miles) where you could easily fill a day walking the farm trail, browsing the gift shop and stopping off for the feeding frenzy each afternoon. You can take a trip into the market town of Rhayader in search of the finest local produce, or to indulge in a slice of cake with a hot coffee to make the most of the time you have together on this trip. Adventurers must visit the Elan Valley to hunt down the spectacular waterfalls hidden within and to stand back and appreciate the natural beauty found in this patchwork of terrain.
