Amazing stay at The Brecons Hot Tub retreat. Beautiful location not too far from town but far enough to feel like youre in your own little world. Gorgeous views. Signal/wifi not great but nice to shut off for a few days, we enjoyed it. Hot tub was great. 3-4 hours to get to a nice temperature. Penny couldnt do enough for us she was fantastic. ShepaRead morerds hut was fully equipped and surprisingly spacious. We own a extra large dog and we didnt feel cramped with all 3 of us there. We will be back! Hide

We really enjoyed our stay in the Shepherd's Hut. The hut is a get away from it all and was very cosy in a beautiful and private position. The hot tub was great fun. The owners were friendly and incredibly helpful when we had a problem with our car. We would recommend staying here.

It was a Friday afternoon when we arrived at the hot tub retreat. The sheep were calling in the distance and the sun was setting on the hill opposite. This was home. My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our stay here-. We visited caswell bay beach , walked round llyn y fan fach and walked up to castle cennen from the hut. A lovely base to explore the Brecon Beacons! Our experience was similar to other reviews in that we weren't able to use the hot tub as it was difficult to get warm (even after 6 or so hours!). There was no reception and the WiFi didn't work so it was difficult to plan our days out (no guide books or maps in the hut!) but the places we did explore wRead moree loved! Hot tub took hours to heat up - in our case we got up over night to keep stove burning !! Perhaps could put this in booklet so people are aware that they would have to stay all day to keep fire hot No WiFi in hut but if you wander to road it is accessible This review might sound negative but we had a lovely time overall thank you

The Shepherds Hut is lovely and cosy, a very romantic spot with a great view. Very nice owners, the hot tub takes 7+ hours to warm up so we never had time to go in it. Felt quite open as it was in a working equestrian and there was quite a bit of graffiti. Land lady was lovely. It was a nice place but I wouldnt return.

A beautiful little hut in a convenient location. Clean, tidy and tastefully decorated. Enclosed area, safe and secure for the dog,she loved to play all day. Hot tub is lovely and warm but it did take 6 hours to heat up and took half the wood supplied so be prepared to heat it up nice and early. Lots of flies so dont open the window by the bed!
