Romantic luxury retreat in Snowdonia National Park with superb mountain views. One of five detached stylish lodges with sedum roofs. Perfect to discover the coast and countryside of North Wales.

Enjoy a getaway to this stylish, modern holiday home set in magical North Wales. Nestled in 3 acres of land, the unusual, one-bedroom retreat makes a magical couple’s bolthole and takes in far-reaching mountain views from its position at Tyn-y-Groes, 4 miles from Conwy. Take two happy hounds with you too if you choose, to accompany you on picturesque walks through the Snowdonia National Park, strolls beside the River Conwy and trips to the scenic Welsh coast.

Enter this attractive holiday home, with its sedum roof, to discover plenty of airy, modern living space where you can both unwind in style. Prepare delicious dinners for two in the well-equipped kitchen then lay the table for a special meal together. Cuddle up on the sofa to watch a film on the TV or simply gaze out at the mountain vistas. The lodge includes a sumptuous double bedroom and beautiful bathroom, with a free-standing bath. Sizzle your supper outside on the BBQ on warm evenings and enjoy a glass of chilled wine as you wait. Find plenty of parking at this Welsh holiday home, together with space for bikes, canoes and other outdoor equipment.

Spend time at the beach in Conwy or pottering around the shops and finding places for eating out in the town. Visit the historic 13th-century castle and see the house reputed to be the smallest in Britain. Head to the Victorian seaside resort of Llandudno, 7.5 miles away, where you can walk along the pier, swim in the sea and picnic on the sand. Visit the National Trust’s Bodnant Garden, 4 miles away, near Tal-y-Cafn, with its wonderful views out over the Conwy Valley and towards the distant Carneddau Mountains. Drive 17 miles along the coast to Aber Falls in Snowdonia and enjoy the spectacular seascapes as you go.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

This was such a relaxing holiday. The setting is great with space in front for our dogs to have a wander round and for us to look out onto. The lodge was really comfortable and had all the home comforts we needed. The odd query we had the owner Alex was always easy to communicate with. Would definitely recommend.

The accommodation is fantastic, very clean, comfortable and spacious in a quiet setting a short drive from lots of towns and villages, including Conwy and Llandudno. We explored a bit more of Anglesey this time and could get to Holyhead and the South Stack Lighthouse in less than an hour.

The lodge was in a lovely, peaceful setting. It was lovely and clean, very spacious and cosy, with a very comfortable king size bed. Lots of extra touches - a wine fridge and a very luxurious bathroom. The owner, Alex, was brilliant and couldn't do enough to make sure we had everything we wanted. Damselfly lodge was clean light and airy, very quiet and relaxing with a great outlook. A great place to stay if you want to relax. All of Snowdonia national park is within a shortish drive with Conway and Betws-y-coed nearby both a good place to visit. On the whole the lodge is a really good place to stay, but could be even better if a few minor gRead moreripes ie sky TV didn':t work, outdoor furniture needs replacing and outdoor area around the lodge could be maintained better, were sorted out. It was a lovely cabin, with a very high quality finish. Lovely for a couple and dogs. The information pack didnt have any suggestions but I wasnt aware of any walks that you could do from the cabin, but with it being wales there was a lot of beautiful places to travel to near by. Cabin was very hot in the afternoon, even with the temperature below Read more10 degrees outside it was 30 plus degrees inside the cabin. Hide

Absolutely beautiful area and cabin was in a perfect location for us. Not to far away from town but secluded. The damselfy cabin was amazing and the best one on the plot, we had a field to ourselves most days so the dog enjoyed it just as much. We will definitely be booking again thank you for a great stay cation

We had a fantastic time at Damselfly Lodge. The views are AMAZING. We spent most days just watching the wildlife and when we got hungry took a short walk down to the pancake house. Which we also highly recommend. The property is decorated to a really high standard, modern and cosy. Lots of windows letting in light and the views. The bath tub was alRead moreso amazing! Conwy is beautiful and the lodge is lovely and peaceful and out of the way. The bed is comfortable and the shower is great.
