Beautiful cottage with fantastic views of the Welsh countryside. Comfortable spaces and quiet location, making it the ideal place for a peaceful city getaway. The house is only three hours away from London and close to fantastic walks in the Wye Valley. Well equipped kitchen with dishwasher and excellent bed linen. I was concerned that it was a dogRead more-friendly cottage, but the house was clean with no traces of previous people or pets. I would love to go back again. Hide

You wont be disappointed. The cottage is warm, comfortable and beautifully furnished. Plenty of equipment in the kitchen to cook a feast if you wanted. Waking up to the sounds of only the birds and lambs in the surrounding fields was heavenly. I could have stayed a lot longer! Thank you

We had a wonderful week at the Fox & Hounds Cottage in October. It was our first outing since the start of the pandemic, and we were apprehensive, but it was a great choice. Very clean, quite isolated, and we managed to bring everything we needed with us. The cottage is super: well equipped with necessities, great for the dogs, with wonderful walksRead more both straight out of the door and within a short drive. We had lovely walks and cosy evenings in front of the wood burner. We'll be back! Hide

This cottage has all the appeal of a traditional cottage plus all the modern comforts you'd expect on a luxury break. We loved the remote location and stunning countryside views out of every window but don't expect to be able to pop out for any bits you may have forgotten as the nearest shop is a good 15-20 minute drive away. The hosts were responsRead moreive and accommodating but very discrete and left us to enjoy the cottage and its beautiful rural setting undisturbed. Hide

Lovely homely cottage, I wouldn't consider this to be a short walk to anywhere including the pub and local shop. The owner is very friendly and if you want a holiday where youll be on a hide away this is your location. Major shopping chains deliver to the cottage which is good because the shop is nearly a 3 mile drive away and isnt that great.
