This cottage has all the appeal of a traditional cottage plus all the modern comforts you'd expect on a luxury break. We loved the remote location and stunning countryside views out of every window but don't expect to be able to pop out for any bits you may have forgotten as the nearest shop is a good 15-20 minute drive away. The hosts were responsRead moreive and accommodating but very discrete and left us to enjoy the cottage and its beautiful rural setting undisturbed. Hide

Lovely homely cottage, I wouldn't consider this to be a short walk to anywhere including the pub and local shop. The owner is very friendly and if you want a holiday where youll be on a hide away this is your location. Major shopping chains deliver to the cottage which is good because the shop is nearly a 3 mile drive away and isnt that great.

Room with a view. The Fox and Hounds has been converted into a lovely, spacious cottage with beautiful views across Welsh farmland. The cottage stands alone with an enclosed and secure garden. If youre looking for a peaceful location, this cottage is perfect for you. However, it could benefit from some non feather bedding for allergy/asthma sufferers if this is something the owners are able to reconsider providing.

We enjoyed our stay in this charming holiday home very much. It was an ideal starting point for trips and hikes to simply enjoy nature, watch grazing sheep and discover the first signs of spring. The walk of the three churches was one of our highlights. We felt very welcome. Great hosts!
