Laid out across three storeys, this detached property offers a wonderful outlook and a light and bright interior in which to spend time. The main lounge can be located on the lower ground floor and offers an open fire, the perfect spot to gaze out to sea whilst enjoying the warm embrace of a fire in colder months. The secondary reception lounge is equipped with a TV/DVD for enjoying a family favourite film or box set together, whilst the dining room offers direct access to a patio where further scenery can be appreciated. Completing the property’s offering are four traditionally decorated bedrooms located on the ground and first floors.

Always dog friendly and providing fantastic waters for swimming and surfing, Ogmore Beach (1 mile) is a fantastic seaside spot on the Glamorgan Heritage Coast. Wander along to the equally picturesque Dunraven Bay (2 miles), stopping off for ice cream and exploring the historic ruins of Dunraven Castle (2.5 miles). The layout is unusual and it is a bit run down but it was comfortable, warm and had everything we needed. It would have been good to know there was a stair gate as we took our own unnecessarily as our dog can't go on the wooden stairs. The outside areas could do with a good tidy up and the decking is unsafe and wobbly. We loved this holiday! The layout of the house is a bit quirky, but that just adds to it's charm. Our party consisted of six adults and one dog! We were having trouble finding a property with three double beds (nobody wants a bunk bed!), and this place was ideal. The house had everything we could possibly need, and more besides. Wonderful Location . Two Lounges a real bonus for Large Family Groups . Property on split levels, with two open stairs, part flight with 7 steps only on each . One Bathroom and two Toilets , both on ground floor . Limited Storage Space for all but Master Bedroom , which has plenty for those in that Bedroom .

An absolute gem of a house! So comfortable and homely. Everything has been thought about/provided for a really relaxing stay. And oh, those views! Breath-taking from so many rooms! Such a perfect location for the beach and coastal walks, whilst still being close enough for short drives to bigger towns. We absolutely loved our week here!

A spacious and comfortable house with off road parking for two cars and fantastic sea views. Very well equipped and lovely homely feel. Tea, milk and Welsh cakes on arrival greatly appreciated. Short walk to the beach/sea. Great area for dogs - all the places we ate in were dog friendly too. Post office with general store, cafe and craft shop for sRead moreouvenirs just down the road. Could be quite a windy spot but still lovely. Great walks from the doorstep but need to use the car for anything else. Hide

We all loved Somerset view and have already recommended it to someone else. It felt like home and no detail was spared. I seldom unpack when I enter a holiday home preferring to live out of my suitcase but not this time. Really happy to have spent a week in this welcoming home.
