Enjoying a great location, a working farm of 200 acres, here you can leave the car behind and make the most of the well waymarked trails from your front door. The Herefordshire countryside is perfect throughout the year where you can explore the Wye Valley Way, Offa’s Dyke and the Forest of Dean. For cyclists you can join the National cycling trail and the country lanes or venture into the Forest for a slightly more challenging terrain. And in summertime why not hire a canoe and take time to enjoy the River. A trip to one of the many market towns is a must where you can pick up local produce from a farmer’s market or browse the independent shops, Hay-on-Wye is famed for books and the annual international literary festival.

Enjoy the views across the countryside as you take the path down to your shepherd’s hut, here you will find a bench where you can sit and enjoy the views before you step inside to explore. This traditionally built hut offers a cosy retreat that’s finished simply with many homely touches and everything you will need for your stay. The hut is open plan with a wood burning stove to keep you warm, a kitchen space with wooden work tops, electric oven and gas hob and a fridge/freezer. A small table with bar stools for breakfast with a stunning view. The double bed is raised and built in, perfect for a peaceful night’s rest and relaxing in front of the wall mount TV. There is a shower room with shower and WC within the hut.

Outside a spacious enclosed space where you can relax, a hot tub sits next to the hut where you can enjoy soaking after a day exploring or simply enjoy the night skies. There is also a summer house which stores a BBQ for summer dining. There is a table and chairs for two and further into the grounds a carved log for two where you can watch the sun go down. There is bike storage and parking for two cars.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

The owner were really good and helpful nothing was to much trouble. The cabin was really clean and comfortable the hot tub was a really good touch where you could look out over the hills. The location is really good you are close to a road for acsses but far enough away that it dose not affect the stay 100% we will be back
